Frequently Asked Questions
Why Little Boo?
Little Boo helps babies achieve deeper and better sleep with natural pink noises.
The recording function allow mummies to record their own voice or sing to their babies. It's natural instinct for babies to find mummies voice familiar and can help to comfort and keep babies calm.
When the music/recording has stopped playing, the module automatically goes into cry detector mode for 8 hours. Once baby cries, it immediately activates the last played sound again.
The sound module also comes with a built-in lamp, with 9 colour modes, this helps with the night care of the infant, and the older ones overcome the fear of the dark. Red light can stimulate melatonin production, in turn helping them sleep faster.
A removable onesie is worn on a parent's forearm for 1-2 hours absorbing their smell and placed back onto the toy. A parent's scent has the ability to help reduce cortisol levels in babies, in turn reducing stress and anxiety.
The sound module is removable from the toy and is USB rechargeable.
How long can the music last?
The music plays for 60 minutes and automatically goes into cry detector mode standby for 8 hours.
The battery life of the toy can last anywhere from 10 hours to 20 hours on full charge, depending on how the functions are used.
What is the difference between pink noise and white noise?
Pink noise and white noise differ in their frequency distribution and sound.
White noise has equal energy across all frequencies, producing a sharp, hissy sound like static. It's effective for masking background noise and aiding concentration.
Pink noise has equal energy per octave, meaning lower frequencies are louder, resulting in a softer, more natural sound resembling rain or rustling leaves. It’s often used for sleep and relaxation due to its calming quality.
